Apple MacBook laptop-iBook is the first

The word "MacBook" was taken from Macintosh, a desktop computer its hard ware nd software all designed by Apple. A MacBook is simply a Macintosh notebook laptop, Apple used word MacBook (Macintosh + notebook) to simplyfy it, to make people easy to pronounce it, making its name user friendly.

First old MacBook laptop designed by Apple is iBook launched on 21 July 1999 with the first model known as iBook G3 Clamshell, designed in body shape similar to sea clamshell, sold in 5 different, catchy colors. iBook runs on PowerPC G3 processor, with chip speed at 300–466MHz. Apple iBook laptop also called as "toilet seat laptop".
